Camels and Flutes

As I started writing this little piece, the website editor said "add a catchy title", so there's something to grab your attention.

The October break was spent in the Middle East, Oman, and Abu Dhabi to be precise, visiting friends and a holiday too. Hence the camel reference. Oddly, despite looking for something, musical instruments seemed to be thin on the sand in that part of the world, so I failed in my intention to root out something interesting that you could blow into and extract a tune of some sort. So no pictures of unusual woodwind i'm afraid.

It's been quite a busy time in the workshop, since mid October. Several flutes requiring some TLC and repair, and the odd clarinet and a nice old |Tenor 'Bone too, so never a dull moment.

I will have one or two instruments for sale soon, so keep an eye on the website for those. At the moment, as fast as I have them ready, they have sold, so all good, and the word is getting around!
